Had the most amazing engagement session yesterday!  Katie and Lawrence were so fun to work with that I know their wedding is going to be just as amazing!  Both were a pleasure to work with and very cooperative, even Lawrence.  Most men struggle to get through these sessions but he was amazing!  Thumbs up to both Katie and Lawrence!

Hello my name is Teresa.  I was born and raised in Central Illinois, in a small town.  I currently reside in Heyworth, a small town about 150 miles south of Chicago.  My husband and I have 2 children.  Amber is my step daughter who resides in Missouri.  Brittany is 16 and is finishing up her last year of high school.  We have a houseful of pets.  Splash is our 15 year old Blue Healer.  Tripod is our 3 legged cat and Shadow is our spoiled black cat.  

I’ve been doing Photography for about 10 years.  I started out taking pictures for friends and family and decided that I loved it so much that I would start doing it professionally.  I have a passion for family and pet photography.  Some of my best work is pet photography which I find to be the most challenging yet rewarding.  Capturing your pet’s natural behavior is the most exciting part of my job. 

The above picture is my youngest daughter, Brittany.  She is graduating from high school in  December 2012.  One of the main reasons for starting DML Photography is to help get her through nursing school.  

We do location photography within the central Illinois, which means that in addition to taking photos in a studio, we also take photos outside of a studio. This may be in your home or anywhere you like. If you have specific place where you would like to be photographed we’ll make it happen or if you prefer we can choose between many of the beautiful scenic areas within your area.
